The Embassy led by H.E Ambassador Dr. Andrew Karanja received a delegation of Kenyan Government officials drawn from different Ministries, Department and Agencies and welcomed them to the Kenya Embassy Brasilia Chancery on 11th May 2026.
The delegation is scheduled to participate in the In-Person Negotiations of the Investment Facilitation and Cooperation Agreement (CFIA) between the Republic of Kenya and the Federative Republic of Brazil aimed at developing a comprehensive framework that will establish a predictable, transparent, and mutually beneficial framework aimed at promoting, attracting and facilitating investments between the two nations while enhancing investor confidence as per the aspirations of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
H.E Ambassador Dr. Karanja held an Entry Meeting with the delegation and underscored that the engagements form part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations between Kenya and Brazil towards unlocking the immense potential in key economic sectors of cooperation including trade, investments, technology transfer, agriculture, green energy, and industrialization among others.
