Official Visit to Brazil and Bilateral meeting between the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil

H.E Dr. Musalia Mudavadi Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya held a bilateral meeting with Ambassador Mauro Viera, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil on 16th May 2025 during the occasion of the PCS’s Official Visit to Brazil.

The meeting that was held at Itamaraty Palace focused on addressing the bilateral relations between the two nations. Emphasis was made on expansion and diversification of trade and investments, enhancement of cultural, technical and socio-economic cooperation.

Discussions also focused on multilateral issues including the United Nations mandated Multilateral Security Support (MSS) Mission in Haiti led by Kenya, the Fight Against Hunger and Rural Development program by Brazil as well as the upcoming 30th Conference of Parties (COP 30) of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) to be held in Belém, Brazil in November 2025.
