H.E Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs held a meeting with officials from Embraer led by Mr. José Serrador Neto, Global Vice President of Embraer on 16th May 2025 at the Embraer offices in Brasilia, Brazil.
The meeting focused on reviewing the opportunities available for enhanced collaboration between Embraer and Kenya in the aerospace sector including the possibility of establishing a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Nairobi.
The engagements sought to position Kenya as Embraer’s strategic aviation partner in Africa for servicing the fast-growing African aviation market.
Also present in the meeting were Amb. Dr. Andrew Karanja, Head of Mission of the Kenya Embassy Brasilia and Amb. Lucy Kiruthu, Ag. Director General of Political and Diplomatic Affairs of the State Department for Foreign Affairs.
