The Mission led by Ambassador Peris Kariuki, Deputy Head of Mission held a meeting with Mr. Marçal Soares, President of the Pharmaceutical Industry Union in the State of Goiás (SINDIFARGO) and Mr. Carlos Stuart of the International Business Center (CIN) of Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (FIEG).
The meeting’s objective was to discuss the opportunities that Pharmaceutical Industries from the State of Goiás would take up in Kenya including through joint partnership ventures with Kenyan pharmaceutical firms.
Mr. Soares informed that through the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (FIEG), a preliminary industrial business mission to Kenya would be ideal to undertake feasibility studies and gain understanding of the market requirements and leverage on Kenya’s strategic position as the gateway to other regional markets in Africa.
