Hon Jonathan Mueke, Principal Secretary, State Department for Livestock Development and H.E Ambassador Dr. Andrew Karanja, Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Brasilia were featured in key Brazilian Media following their participation in two media Interviews.
These engagements formed part of the broader public diplomacy strategy employed by the Embassy, aimed at enhancing Kenya’s visibility in Brazil by promoting national interests, strengthening calls for strategic partnerships, and positioning Kenya as a premier investment destination for Brazilian companies in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
The media engagements took place on 28th April 2026 on the sidelines of the 31st Agrishow International Fair held in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo.
It is envisaged that the engagements held with various Brazilian institutions across multiple sectors will contribute to the effective implementation and realization of the objectives outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Agriculture and Livestock Development signed between Kenya and Brazil in May 2025.
