Visit to the Embassy Chancery by the leadership of the Afro-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (AfroChamber) and the Parliamentary Front forStrengthening Relationsbetween Brazil, Latin America,the Caribbean and Africa.

H.E Ambassador Dr. Andrew Karanja held a meeting with Mr. Rui Mucaje, President of the Afro-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (AfroChamber) and Dr. Adriano Carneiro, Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Front for Strengthening Relations
between Brazil, Latin America,
the Caribbean and Africa on 6th May 2025 at the Embassy Chancery.

The meeting discussed the possibilities for increased economic cooperation between the Kenyan and Brazilian private sector as embodied in the recently concluded MOU that was signed by AfroChamber in Nairobi when they participated in the World Chambers Federation (WCF) Africa Summit organized by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).

It was further proposed that the Parliamentary Group could spearhead the development of several programs with Kenya including in political dialogues and well as social projects such as health and education.
