The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Brasília facilitated the convening of several strategic bilateral meetings with key Brazilian institutions and private sector stakeholders during the APAS Show in São Paulo, aimed at developing market linkages and enhancing Kenyan exports to the Brazilian market.
The deliberations focused on advancing collaborative partnerships with leading Brazilian importers, distributors, and commercial representatives, while promoting high-potential Kenyan niche export products including specialty teas, macadamia nuts, roasted coffee, clothing, and textiles.
The Kenyan delegation, comprising officials from the State Department for Trade and Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA), also explored the possibility of establishing a dedicated Kenya Country Stand at the APAS Show in 2027. The proposed initiative would provide Kenyan exporters with an opportunity to showcase their products, strengthen business-to-business engagements, and enhance the visibility of Kenyan brands within the Brazilian and wider Latin American markets.
Additionally, the delegation also held consultations with the Regional Council of Commercial Representatives in the State of São Paulo (CORE-SP), an institution mandated to oversee independent commercial representatives in the State of São Paulo aimed at scaling and advancing export diversification. good
