The Embassy led by Amb. Peris Kariuki, Deputy Head of Mission, convened the Preliminary National Inter-Agency Committee Meeting on Livestock Cooperation with Brazil on 3rd February 2026.
The meeting deliberated on a National Proposal intended to guide the establishment of the proposed Kenya-Brazil Joint Cattle Project, that would be jointly spearheaded by the Kenyan Livestock Stakeholders and the Brazilian Zebu Breeders Association (ABCZ).
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the details of the upcoming Livestock Trade Mission to Brazil organized by ABCZ, that is scheduled to take place from 20th to 30th April 2026. The ten-day Trade Mission will include technical visits and participation in two major international trade fairs, namely the 91st Edition of Expo Zebu and the 31st Edition of AgriShow.
Members were strongly encouraged to register and mobilize participation in this important inbound trade Mission to Brazil.
