Meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil (MRE) on the upcoming 2nd Brazil High Level Conference and Business Mission to Kenya
The Mission led by Ambassador Peris Kariuki, Deputy Head of Mission held a meeting with Mr. Durval Cardoso de Carvalho, Head of the Division of Agriculture Promotion and Mr. Andre Pinto Pacheco, Head of the East and North Africa Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil on 4th September 2024 in Brasilia.
The meeting’s objective was to discuss participation by the Brazilian Government at the High-Level Conference in Nairobi scheduled for 1st to 3rd October 2024 that seeks to commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kenya and the Federative Republic of Brazil.
It is envisioned that the 2nd Brazil High-Level Conference and Business Mission will facilitate deliberations at the Government level, yield direct linkages between Brazilian and Kenyan investors and traders, paving way for joint ventures while facilitating the deepening of economic integration toward a more vibrant, resilient and competitive cooperation.
