Key highlights from the opening ceremony included discussions on Brazil’s advancements in climate-smart agriculture, the role of Agribusiness in enhancing food systems and the need to support vulnerable communities to obtain sustainable living. For Kenya, these themes underscore the importance of establishing partnerships with Brazilian agricultural players to transfer technologies and invest in Kenya’s agricultural sector with digital tools for agriculture, while leveraging on the organized cooperatives to educate them on sustainable practices to boost productivity, value addition and promotion of the products at the global markets.
