The Mission led by H.E Ambassador Lemarron Kaanto organized a Kenya Trade and Investment Promotion Seminar during the Second FeComercioGO Expo in Goiânia, Goiás State, Brazil.
The Mission presented Kenya as the principal destination for investments by demonstrating investor ready bankable projects in the Digital Superhighway Economy, Housing, Agriculture, Healthcare, Manufacturing, International Trade and Tourism among others. The seminar served as a vital tool and platform to exhibit key partnership opportunities that Brazilian investors and traders could take up to foster greater economic ties with Kenya.
There were also several business rounds undertaken between the Brazilian business executives and the Kenyan private sector to strike buyer-seller partnerships.
The Mission also held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines with the Sindinformatica Goiás members on the possibilities of forging linkages with Kenyan players in the information technology and energy sectors of Brazil and Kenya.
