The Embassy led by Ambassador Peris Kariuki, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. held a meeting with Mr. Cézar Augusto Rizi, the Technical Director and International Projects of CAMPO Group.
The meeting was informed that CAMPO Group is an Agribusiness Consultancy Brazilian institution that has specialized in technical and economic studies for agricultural, livestock and agro industrial projects through the assessments of markets and financial attractiveness aimed at giving strategic advice.
The meeting was also presented with a portfolio of the numerous projects that CAMPO had developed in Brazil and other countries along the tropical savanna such as the Cerrado Development Program (PRODECER) that developed the tropical savanna ecoregion of Brazil.
The Embassy thereafter invited CAMPO Group to participate in the upcoming Outbound Mission to Kenya that is scheduled to take place under the auspices of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) Africa Summit from 9th to 11th April 2025 in Nairobi as an opportunity to explore possibilities for partnership with Kenya on Tropical Sustainable Agriculture.
