The Mission led by Ambassador Peris Kariuki made an industrial visit to Agrosol Pasture Seeds Industrial Plant in Goiânia, Goiás State on 11th October 2024.
A meeting was held with Mr. Antonio Tormin, Senior Partner and Foreign Trade Executive and Mr. Daniel Pedrosa, Agricultural Engineer Commercial Manager of Agrosol Pasture Seeds.
Notably, the pasture seeds varieties at Agrosol had been given several Kenyan and Swahili names including Mombasa, Tumaini, Zuri, Kenya and Maasai among others.
The meeting discussed opportunities for technical collaboration with Kenyan agricultural players and partnerships towards cooperation in pasture seed technology for increased milk production and food security.
