The Embassy of Kenya in Brazil spearheaded the participation of the Kenyan Diaspora and youth at the Rio+AGRO Forum, held from 1st to 3rd October 2025 in Rio de Janeiro.
Kenya’s Diaspora delegation, drawn from key sectors such as science, innovation, and technology, made a notable impression at the international gathering. Their active involvement was recognized by the global community as a reflection of Kenya’s growing leadership in advancing sustainable agriculture, research, and innovation across borders.
On the sidelines of the Forum, the Kenyan participants held a vibrant meet-up session Ambassador Dr. Andrew Karanja. Discussions focused on Kenya’s agricultural transformation agenda, collaboration opportunities with Brazil, and the pivotal role of the Diaspora in driving innovation and national development.
The session reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to engaging with the Kenyan community in Brazil and harnessing their expertise to elevate Kenya’s presence on international platforms.
