Today, 18th June 2025, the Kenya Embassy in Brasilia hosted Mr. Nelci Caiveta Peres from the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) and Dr. Fabricó Rocha De Oliveira from the Daniel Franco Institute. The team engaged in productive discussions with Amb. Dr. Andrew Karanja, Head of Mission, regarding the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Crop and Livestock Development Cooperation.
Key topics discussed included crop and livestock research, capacity building for agricultural experts, and technical cooperation between Kenya and Brazil’s Daniel Franco Institute. The meeting further solidified Kenya’s commitment to deepening agricultural cooperation with Brazil, utilizing expertise to foster mutual growth in food security and sustainable farming practices.
