On 29th October 2025, Ambassador Peris Kariuki, Deputy Head of Mission, held a meeting with members of the Kenyan Diaspora in Brazil on the sidelines of the Industry, Commerce, Housing and Entrepreneurship Fair (FIC Goiás), that was taking place from 29th October to 1st November 2025 at the Goiânia Convention Center in Goiás State.
The Embassy extended invitations to the Kenyan Diaspora and business community to participate in this major event, one of the largest trade fairs in Midwest Brazil, which features a range of activities including lectures, business meetings, technical visits, and cultural exchanges.
The dialogue session provided an opportunity to engage the Kenyans highlighting potential ventures to take up within Brazil’s diverse economic sectors, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations with Brazil through enhanced economic, cultural, and institutional cooperation.
