  1. Regaining Kenya Citizenship

For Kenyans born either in Kenya or abroad before 27th August 1987 and who acquired other nationalities BEFORE 27th August, 2010)

Requirements

  1. Application form duly filled FORM5.
  2. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan passport (Biodata page only)
  3. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan national ID (both sides)
  4. 2 (two) copies of valid passport of your other nationality (Biodata page only)
  5. 2 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of your other nationality
  6. A copy of your Birth Certificate
  7. In case of name change due to marriage, please attach a copy of marriage certificate
  8. 2 (two) passport size pictures (Note: Most current picture taken within the last one month)]

  1. Declaring Dual Citizenship

For Kenyans above 18 years of age who are also nationals of other foreign countries (acquired other nationalities AFTER 27th August, 2010)

A dual citizen is required to disclose their other citizenship within three months of becoming dual citizen.

Requirements

  1. Declaration form duly filled FORM2. (Notarized on page 2)
  2. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan passport (Biodata page only)
  3. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan national ID (both sides)
  4. 2 (two) copies of valid passport of your other nationality (Biodata page only)
  5. 2 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of your other nationality
  6. A copy of your Birth Certificate
  7. 2 (two) passport size pictures (Note: Most current picture taken within the last one month)
  8. Applicant must be 18 years and above
